The butterfly piece was commissioned by
the National Down Syndrome Society based in New York for their annual Women's Luncheon in
2004. The spring design was used for their invitation. Over 450 women attended the
luncheon. Cokie Roberts was the guest speaker for this event. The original
work currently hangs in the NDSS headquarters. This is a happy, joyful piece that Ashlee
said "prissy ladies will like!" |
