Ashlee Jane Birckhead is a very talented young artist who happens to have Down syndrome. She developed a strong interest in art at an early age and has produced an array of amazing works that reflect a unique style, sense of color and personality. Ashlee loves to draw and paint animals and has quite a collection of creatures from the coast to the jungle.

Ashlee has participated in events in Phoenix, Arizona; Detroit, Michigan; Roanoke, Virginia; New York City, New York; and is featured in a documentary from Regent University in Virginia Beach, Virginia. She has one design on permanent display at the National Down Syndrome Society in New York.
